Five major fields of development in intelligent manufacturing
Intelligent manufacturing is the combination of intelligent manufacturing technology and information technology, involving numerous industries. Focusing on the key links of intelligent manufacturing pilot projects can help accurately grasp investment opportunities related to it. According to the pilot notice, five key actions will be carried out, including process manufacturing, discrete manufacturing, intelligent equipment and products, new formats and models of intelligent manufacturing, intelligent management, and intelligent services. From this, it can be observed that the five directions targeted in the pilot program have their own specificity.
Firstly, regarding the intelligence of the production process, more precisely, the modernization and intelligence of production methods. According to the notification requirements, select at least 5 pilot demonstration projects in process manufacturing represented by smart factories and discrete manufacturing represented by digital workshops. Among them, in the field of process manufacturing, the focus is on promoting industries such as petrochemicals, chemicals, metallurgy, building materials, textiles, and food, and demonstrating and promoting the application of smart factories or digital mines; In the field of discrete manufacturing, we will focus on promoting industries such as machinery, automobiles, aviation, shipbuilding, light industry, household appliances, and electronic information.
Secondly, regarding the intelligence of products, it is reflected in the pilot demonstration of intelligent equipment and products represented by deep embedding of information technology. That is to embed intelligent products such as chips, sensors, instruments, software systems, etc. into smart equipment, so that the products have dynamic storage, perception, and communication capabilities, achieving product traceability, identification, and localization. According to the notice, more than 10 integrated application projects for intelligent equipment and products will be selected in industries including high-end chips, new sensors, robots, etc.
Third, the new business forms and models in the manufacturing industry should be intelligentized, which is the so-called industrial Internet direction. According to the notice, pilot demonstrations will be carried out in intelligent manufacturing new formats and models represented by personalized customization, network collaborative development, and e-commerce. For example, personalized customization pilot projects will be launched in consumer related industries such as household appliances and automobiles; Pilot demonstration of e-commerce and product information traceability in industries such as steel, food, and rare earths.
Fourthly, regarding the intelligence of management. Promote the pilot of intelligent management in logistics informatization and energy management intelligence, so as to integrate information technology and modern management concepts into enterprise management.
Fifth, towards the intelligence of services. Pilot demonstration of intelligent services represented by online monitoring, remote diagnosis, and cloud services. Chang'an Xiaopeng, Deputy Director of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, believes that the intelligence of services is reflected not only in how enterprises can efficiently, accurately, and timely explore potential customer needs and respond in real time, but also in the implementation of online to offline (O2O) services for products after delivery, achieving full lifecycle management of products.
