Intelligent manufacturing (human-machine integrated intelligent system)
Intelligent manufacturing, originating from the research of artificial intelligence, is generally believed to be the sum of knowledge and intelligence. The former is the foundation of intelligence, while the latter refers to the ability to acquire and apply knowledge to solve problems< br />
Intelligent manufacturing should include intelligent manufacturing technology and intelligent manufacturing systems. Intelligent manufacturing systems can not only continuously enrich the knowledge base in practice, but also have self-learning functions, as well as the ability to collect and understand environmental information and their own information, and analyze, judge, and plan their own behavior.
Intelligent Manufacturing (IM) is a human-machine integrated intelligent system composed of intelligent machines and human experts. It can perform intelligent activities such as analysis, reasoning, judgment, conceptualization, and decision-making in the manufacturing process. By collaborating with intelligent machines, we aim to expand, extend, and partially replace the mental labor of human experts in the manufacturing process. It updates the concept of manufacturing automation and extends it to flexibility, intelligence, and high integration< br />
When it comes to intelligent manufacturing, the first thing to introduce is Japan's advocacy of "smart manufacturing" in April 1990; Intelligent Manufacturing System IMS” International collaborative research program. Many developed countries such as the United States, the European Community, Canada, Australia, etc. have participated in this program. The plan plans to invest a total of 1 billion US dollars and implement preliminary research plans for 100 projects< br />
Undoubtedly, intelligence is the development direction of manufacturing automation. Artificial intelligence technology is widely applied in almost every aspect of the manufacturing process. Expert system technology can be used for engineering design, process design, production scheduling, fault diagnosis, and more. Advanced computer intelligence methods such as neural networks and fuzzy control technology can also be applied to product formulation, production scheduling, etc., to achieve intelligent manufacturing processes. Artificial intelligence technology is particularly suitable for solving particularly complex and uncertain problems. But it is also evident that achieving intelligence throughout the entire manufacturing process of enterprises is not something that is completely impossible, at least in the distant future. Someone even raised the question, will intelligent automation be achieved in the next century? If intelligence is only implemented in a certain local aspect of the enterprise without ensuring global optimization, the significance of this intelligence is limited. [1] < br />
On September 10, 2015, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of pilot demonstration projects for intelligent manufacturing in 2015, with 46 projects shortlisted. These projects include the pilot program for intelligent machine tools applied by Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd., the pilot program for intelligent cloud manufacturing of aerospace products applied by Beijing Aerospace Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Development Co., Ltd., and the pilot program for intelligent manufacturing and services of fertilizers applied by China National Chemical Fertilizer Co., Ltd. 46 pilot demonstration projects cover 38 industries, distributed in 21 provinces, involving 6 categories including process manufacturing, discrete manufacturing, intelligent equipment and products, new formats and models of intelligent manufacturing, intelligent management, and intelligent services, reflecting industry and regional coverage and strong demonstration. Shenyang Machine Tool is also one of the selected enterprises in the metal cutting machine tool industry& nbsp; [1-6] < br />
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology launched the implementation in 2015; Special Action for Pilot Demonstration of Intelligent Manufacturing;, The main focus is to directly enter the key links of manufacturing activities, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of enterprises, pay attention to the growth of pilot demonstration projects, form effective experiences and models through breakthroughs, and promote and apply them in various fields of manufacturing< br />
Minister of Industry and Information Technology Miao Wei stated at the meeting that intelligent manufacturing is increasingly becoming a major trend and core content for the future development of the manufacturing industry. It is also an important measure to accelerate the transformation of development mode, promote the industry to move towards the mid to high end, and build a manufacturing powerhouse. It is also an inevitable choice to create new international competitive advantages under the new normal. Advancing intelligent manufacturing is a complex and massive system engineering, as well as a new thing that requires a continuous process of exploration and trial and error. It is difficult to achieve overnight, let alone rush to success. For this reason,“ We should make good use of pilot demonstrations as an important tool.
